Kindly note that due to the liability that gets carried by One Year Gift should you not occupy a reservation confirmed utilizing your One Year Gift voucher, a R 500.00 refundable Booking Fee has been implemented upon confirming a reservation.

Please note that should you, the voucher holder occupy the reservation, the fee will be refunded. Should you, the voucher holder not occupy the reservation, the fee will be forfeited.

Due to the increase in members not occupying their reservations confirmed utilizing their One Year Gift vouchers, this process has been implemented.

1. Voucher to be booked and redeemed within 12 months from date of issue.

2. Voucher is valid for any period outside school holidays / public holiday periods.

3. Transportation will be for guests own account.

4. Refundable Key and Breakage Fee payable when making Reservations at selected resorts.

5. Refund of Key and Breakage Fee will be done electronically within 30days of departure

6. IMPORTANT RULES FOR CANCELLING YOUR RESERVATION/S

1. Any amendment / cancellation to reservations 6 weeks prior to occupation will be subject to a fee of R 1,500.00 to reinstate the voucher or forfeiture of voucher.

2. Any amendment / cancellations to reservations 6 weeks or more to occupancy will be subject to a cancellation fee of R 700-00 to reinstate the voucher or voucher will be forfeited.

3. No amendment / cancellations allowed within 1 week prior to occupation.

7. Please allow up to 7 working days for the registration of your voucher before making your booking on www.oneyeargift.co.za.

8. Be sure to register your voucher on www.oneyeargift.co.za with the relevant details required. A verification e-mail will be sent with your voucher and reference number.

1. An OTP will be sms’d upon registering this voucher to the cell phone number linked to the booking where the voucher was received. The voucher may only be redeemed using this cellphone number.

2. This voucher may only be redeemed and used by the person who this cellphone number belongs to.

9. The resort reserves the right to refuse admittance if the booking confirmation letter is not presented, or if the number of persons exceeds that shown on the voucher / unit configuration. This includes children of all ages.

10. All accommodation is subject to availability.

11. All meals beverages and outside activities will be for guests` own account.

12. Vouchers are not transferrable nor redeemable for cash.

13. No amendment or addition to this voucher will be accepted.

14. Vouchers offer accommodation on a sharing basis for 2 adults and 2 children under the age of 12 years.

15. Should accommodation size be able to accommodate more than the 2 adults and 2 children as stipulated by the voucher the following rules apply:

1. Extra guests can be taken with subject to the size of the unit (under no circumstances will units be allowed to exceed the maximum occupation number).

2. A fee of R 800-00 per adult and R 400-00 per child (under the age of 12) is payable prior to check-in.

3. Banking details: FNB, Account Name: Oneyeargift, Account Number: 62247613905, Branch code: 250655, Cheque Account.

4. Please use the voucher number as reference.

16. No pets allowed.

17. One voucher per family.

18. Clients receiving this voucher can be contacted in future for any promotions or events hosted by the sponsor or its affiliates.

19. The renting of One Year Gift weeks to another party is strictly prohibited.

    1. Should a member rent a week out to a third party, One Year Gift reserves the right to suspend the member portfolio, cancel the reservation with full forfeiture and to block the member from confirming any further reservations through. Should there be any Reservations still due for occupation, One Year Gift reserves the right to cancel the reservations with full forfeiture.

20. All reservations to be made via www.oneyeargift.co.za, no bookings via telephone or email will be accepted.

21. The One Year Gift website is a live booking engine and available accommodation may vary from day to day.

22. One Year Gift resorts and vouchers are subject to availability.

23. Midweek /Weekend vouchers may be upgraded to a Full Week voucher, at an additional fee of R1250.00 per upgrade. Must be upgraded before a booking is made. *Subject to availability.

24. Resort rules and regulation(s) apply to all Reservations.

25. Terms and conditions subject to change without prior notice.

26. Check-in will only be allowed on presentation of a valid confirmation letter and corresponding Voucher Holder ID.

27. Please ensure you are aware of the unit configuration confirmed, as the Resort reserves the right to refuse admittance should the number of persons exceed the number of persons allowed in the unit confirmed.

28. Please be aware that not all units are wheelchair friendly, you are required to ensure that the unit confirmed is wheelchair friendly.

29. Refundable Booking Fee of R 500.00 payable when confirming a reservation. This amount is payable by Credit Card on the One Year Gift website at time of booking. This fee will be refunded by One Year Gift after Departure date, should the OYG Voucher holder have occupied. Should the OYG Voucher holder not have occupied, this amount will be forfeited.

30. PLEASE NOTE: Failure to abide by the resort rules or any directive from management may lead to your eviction at the resort.  You are required to adhere to the resorts rules especially, but not limited to, noise levels, alcohol and drug abuse, immoral behavior and any other rule that contradicts the resorts rules.  Non compliance will lead to immediate eviction at managements and/or security's sole discretion.
    
    

31. PLEASE NOTE: The resort will be obliged to refuse admittance if this confirmation letter is not produced or if the person wishing to use the booking is not the member as stated above, or is not in possession of a valid guest certificate.  The resort will require identification documents to validate that the person checkin in is indeed the person indicated on this confirmation letter.
